Podcorps- Recording Spoken-Word Events Worldwide

Ok, I'm spending the afternoon working on making our library-sponsored events reach a wider audience and allow for greater interactivity with whatever public connects to them...have any of you ever used Podcorps? Recording Spoken-Word Events Worldwide - http://www.conversationsnetwork.org/podcorps. Is anyone a stringer? Any experiences out there with this type of thing?

Mobilephone-readable physical hyperlinks...?


Is anyone out there doing anything fun with physical hyperlinks and mobilephone barcode readers? I discovered Semapedia over the summer at Wikimania and have been playing around with it...interested to see what you all are doing with it...

Library Media Makers

Our Library Media Makers Club has been running since the end of June 2006. I took the idea of training children and teens to do traditional storytelling and combined it with free, easily accessible web 2.0 technologies, existing computers and computer equipment available at my library, and my passion for teaching kids and people about citizen's media and the tools that are now available to them and developed an afternoon program which meets once a week throughout the year.
